- I am looking for a death date (prefferably an obit) for a Matilda SCOTT, wife of Thomas SCOTT. Matilda was first married to Jacob YARLETT (1870 census Umatilla Co) and in 1880 census she is married to Thomas SCOTT and it lists most of the children Matilda had with J. YARLETT in 1870 census. I am trying to pick up the trail of her daughter, Angeline YARLETT, who married John Calvin WILSON in Pendleton on Oct. 31, 1876. They had two children while still in Umatilla County, Lula N. WILSON, born in 1878, and Oscar WILSON, born in 1879. John was in Arizona in 1886 but returned to Oregon by July of same year. I lose track of them after his return from Arizona. John C. WILSON was the son of John and Mahala WILSON, also from Umatilla County. John died in Pendleton in on March 17, 1868. Mahala died in Grant County in 1884. Both are buried in the Prine Grove cemetery near Halsey, Linn County, Oregon. Orilla DAUGHTREY was a daughter of John and Mahala WILSON. She was married to Nathaniel DAUGHTREY and the DAUGHTREY family stayed in Umatilla County all their lives. I have much info and pictures of this family that I would love to share with anyone who is researching this family. If anyone has any information on any of these families, please contact me. Thank you.
