LOVE, DAVID married Helen Stewart - David started West on a sailing vessel around the Horn to Calif. Stayed there two years. Then he left for Australian gold fields where he made $1,800.00. He returned to Penn. and came West with Love - Stewart wagon train - that went out to Lane Co. Ore. They settled on Fall Creek. The family came to Eagle Valley on Daly Creek 1854. Walter Love is farming part of David Love's ranch 100 year farm.
