ARD, BRADLEY, DOBBS, STALLINGS posted by Rose Higgins on Saturday, June 23, 2001

I am seeking information on William George ARD (could also be George William) and his wife Addie BRADLEY ARD, who were living in Stanfield, Umatilla County, Oregon in 1922. They had one son, Earl James ARD b. 20 Aug. 1922 in Stanfield. Family story has it that William beat Earl profusely when he was a very small child, maybe even a baby. William was said to have been beaten by the Klu Klux Klan for his actions. I am seeking any information concerning this event, if in fact it did occur. Possible father of William ARD? C. J. STALLINGS> Can someone do a look up for marriage information of William (George) ARD and Addie BRADLEY who were married in 1921?. Possibly Umatilla County. Any information on the above surnames would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
