Chet Riley surprised his many friends by returning home yesterday
with a bride. The
lucky lady was Miss Stone, a former employee of the Axtell
drugstore.

Riley - Wade
The home of Dr. & Mrs. C.T. Hockett was the scene of a quiet
wedding ceremony Thursday at one o'clock,
when Faye Wade & Robert E. Riley were united in marriage. The
marriage service was read by
the Rev. Homer Collison. Only a few close friends & relatives were
present.
Following the ceremony a luncheon was given by the brides sister,
Mrs. Hockett. The young
people left on the afternoon train for Portland where they will make
their home.

Russell - Kooch
Glenn Russell and Miss Laura Kooch, both of Enterprise, were
united in marriage
at Wallowa yesterday Oct 1, 1919 by Rev. Pratt. The happy couple
left on the first
train from Wallowa for a trip to Portland, Pendleton and Lewiston.
the groom has a
cattle ranch on the Snake River but they will make their home in
Enterprise temporarily.
