A quiet wedding ceremony was performed last Thursday evening at
La Grande at
6:30 when the Rev. Smith of the Presbyterian church, united in
marriage, Miss Freda Becker
and Mr. Reed Smith, both of this city. Following the ceremony the
young couple left for a
short trip into Washington returning to Enterprise Wednesday noon.
They will go to housekeeping
at once in the Burnaugh apartments. Both young people are well known
in the city and have a great
many friends who unite with the Reporter in extending good wishes.

Chas. F. Southwick and Miss Laura Miller both of Wallowa were
united in marriage
last Monday August 18th at 5 p.m. by Rev. Sibley. They will make
their home on the
Delbert Mitchell ranch on Prairie Creek.

home last Thursday noon, when Miss Grace Walker was united in
marriage to Mr. Geo.
Star of Butte, Montana. The couple left immediately for Willamette
valley, the former home
of the bride, after a honeymoon trip they will locate in Montana.

city and the bride is the
manager of the City Hotel. The groom is now deputy sheriff.

The marriage of Moss Randolph Swan and Verna Haney was solemnized

home in this city on Monday evening at 9:30 in the presence of a few
invited guests. Rev.
